Genii loci ‘2018’

This extremely lightweight and comfortable café chair is made for the cafe at Louisiana Museum of Modern Art. A herringbone weave flax grid formed in the seat and the backrest, which is a reflection of the architecture.

The chair consists of beechwood, weighs 3 kg and is stackable. Inspiration for the project is Poul Kjærholm, “Louisiana Chair”, standing in the concert hall next to the cafe.
